County Road 325 West to close over I-70 next week

REELSVILLE — A bridge deck overlay project will force the closure of County Road 325 West over Interstate 70 for approximately one month.

The closure is expected to close on or after Thursday, June 13, the Indiana Department of Transporation announced Wednesday.

The project is part of a $1.2 million bid awarded to RAM Construction Services of Michigan that will also include a pair of projects on Interstate 70 itself — the bridge over Deer Creek at the 34.5-mile marker in western Putnam County and the bridge over Mill Creek at the 49-mile marker on the Putnam-Morgan county line.

The interstate bridge work will begin after July 8, with more information on closures or restrictions coming from INDOT closer to the date.

INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
