Lois Mae Cash
Lois Mae Cash, 90, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
She was born April 13, 1929 in Jamestown, the daughter of Carl and Alice (Nicholson) Lewis and was a 1947 graduate of Greencastle High School.
Lois was a homemaker and retired from Jim Vaughn’s Stilesville Auction and Implement Sales. She had previously worked at Marsh grocery, the DePauw registrar's office and Owl Drug Store.
She was a member of the Fillmore Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a founding member of the Sweet Sixteen Club. Lois loved to play bridge and crafting, quilting, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Verlin E. Cash; children Sandra Sue (John) Nees, Steven E. (Patricia) Cash and Cynthia M. (Roger) Earley; a sister, Virginia Gender; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, William and Eugene Lewis.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 at the Fillmore Cemetery.
