BAINBRIDGE — Consistently considered one of the best fireworks shows in the area, if not the state, in recent years, the town of Bainbridge will again play host to a fireworks display on Saturday, July 6.

Hometown business Mortonville Fireworks will again put on the display, which begins at dark (probably 9:30-10 p.m.) on Saturday.

With the crowds the display has attracted to town, the Bainbridge Town Council recently approved the placement of several trash barrels and port-a-lets on the east end of town to accommodate the guests.

Anyone planning to pass through Bainbridge that evening should plan for an unusual amount of congestion.

Mortonville’s “Fireworks over the Silo” is so good that the company now has others using its service, such as Greencastle, which has hired Mortonville for its Celebrate 4 display on Thursday, July 4.

  • Where do they actually set the fireworks off? Where is a good spot to see the show?

  • I have heard that at Donna Tippens craft shop (a little past the Fireworks Store on opposite side of road) is a good place ad well as the cemetary. But if you are going at all you need to go early because the town is crowded! Even heard you can see them from North Putnam high school parking lot. Where ever you watch them from you are in for a treet. They are fantastic!
