Steven C. Parrish

Steven C. Parrish, 75, of Sadieville, Ky., passed away on June 15, 2019.

He was born in Greencastle to the late Arthur and LaVerne (Beams) Parrish on Aug. 15, 1943.

He was a 1961 graduate of Greencastle High School.

He retired after 32 years from Allison’s in Indianapolis. He then pursued a career as a truck driver for 10-plus years.

Steven loved traveling, riding horses and riding his Harley-Davidson. He also loved spending time with his dogs.

He was preceded in death by brother William “Billy” Parrish and sister Beverly Clinger.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie; sisters Sherry Miller and Debbie (Kyle) Wildman; sons Tom (Corinna), Scott (Julie) and Matt (Kristy) Parrish; daughters Jodi (Tim) Shiffett and Carli Norman; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place at the Putnam County Museum from 4-8 p.m. on July 20.
