Thomas S. Judy

Thomas S. Judy, 89, of Greencastle, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 at Mill Pond Health Campus.

Thomas was born in Greencastle on Feb. 24, 1930, the son of William “Fant” and Goldie (Sears) Judy, and attended Bainbridge schools.

Mr. Judy was a farmer and ran a produce market for many years.

He married Elizabeth A. (Carmichael) Judy on June 8, 1947, and she survives. Other survivors include four children, William N. Judy of Greencastle, Vicki Lynn Steele of Portland, Ore., Gary Judy and wife Gene Ann of Greencastle and Steve Judy and wife Debi of Hayfield, Minn.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters, Madonna, Lola, Gayle, Kathryn, Waneta, Betty and Edna; a brother, Clint; two great-grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.

At his request there will be no visitation or services scheduled.

Cremation was entrusted to Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
