Putnam County’s football teams will have their final preparations tonight for the start of the regular season next week.

All scrimmages start at 7 p.m.

The regular season opens next Friday with Greencastle playing at Crawfordsville, North Putnam playing at North Montgomery and Cloverdale playing at South Putnam.

The Cloverdale-South matchup will be the first games at their new schools for coaches David Zorman of the Clovers and Chuck Sorrell of the Eagles.

The Banner Graphic football preview special section will be included in Wednesday’s print edition and will also be available online at www.bannergraphic.com.
