Rolling slowdown on I-70 set for Sept. 22

LITTLE POINT -- The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) recently announced that a rolling slowdown is scheduled for I-70 in both directions on Sunday, Sept. 22.

This will begin around 7 a.m. and is anticipated to take 10 minutes. Eastbound traffic will be slowed at County Road 1100 West., the Little Point exit (Exit 51) and westbound traffic at Exit 66 on State Road 267.

The slowdown is to allow Hendricks Power to remove overhead power lines at State Road 39 and I-70.

The Indiana State Police will be assisting with this rolling slowdown. Drivers may wish to seek an alternate route during this time.
