National Recovery Month

Recognizing mental health and substance use disorders as a problem in need of commitment and support in Greencastle and throughout the country, Greencastle Mayor Bill Dory (front center) recently signs a proclamation declaring September as National Recovery Month in Greencastle. Present for the signing are Cummins Behavioral Health Systems representatives (front from left) Rebecca Roy, Amy Mace, (back) Alison Dobbs, Erin Flick, Amanda Lewellen, Stephanie Overshiner and Debbie Roman. In signing the proclamation, Dory encouraged the friends and neighbors of people with substance use disorders to implement preventative measures, recognize the sings of a problme and guide those in need to appropriate treatment and recovery services.
