Farm to Fork Dinner to feature PC Youth Choir

The Putnam County Youth Choir will perform at the Farm to Fork Dinner scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m.

The Putnam County Youth Choir is a community youth choir for students in fourth through eighth grade. Directed by Carrie Hamilton and accompanied by Lori Miller, the choir features about 25 youth from around the county.

The Putnam County Farm to Fork Dinner is being hosted by Cloverdale Dollars for Scholars, the Greencastle Alumni Association, North Putnam Dollars for Scholars and the South Putnam High School Scholarship committee.

Ruth Myers of Myers’ Market will also be catering this event.

The dinner will take place at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building

The money raised from the dinner will provide scholarship funds for each high school in Putnam County.

Reservations for the Farm to Fork Dinner can be purchased for $40 at The Putnam County Community Foundation, as well as First National Bank and Tri-County Bank and Trust branches.

Reservations can also be purchased online for $42 by going to www.northputnamdollarsforscholars.org. Click on the “Donate Now” button, complete the form and enter “tickets” in the scholarship box.

North Putnam Dollars for Scholars is the financial agent for this event.

Following the dinner, all funds will be divided evenly between all four county high school Dollars for Scholars chapters or scholarship committees.
