Nonprofit workshop to focus on fundraising

The last workshop of the 2019 Putnam-Montgomery Nonprofit Learning Series is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The workshop will take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at The Inn at DePauw, and will be facilitated by Ann Updegraff Spleth, who will be discussing how to maximize fundraising efforts.

The fee for the event is $20 with lunch included.

This interactive workshop will examine the following:

Drafting a fundraising plan—Discover how to efficiently use your time and resources to achieve fundraising goals.

Cultivating relationships—How to continue identifying new donors, as you also maintain good relations with current donors.

Online fundraising—What knowledge and skills are needed for online fundraising?

Spleth is the chief operating officer for the Kiwanis Children’s Fund. She is a certified fundraising executive (CFRE) and is an adjunct faculty member at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IUPUI in Indianapolis. She has also taught extensively on strategic planning, fundraising planning and board development.
