INDIANAPOLIS — A Mooresville man critically injured last weekend in a motorcycle crash has passed away.

Larry Corbin, 58, died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a single-motorcycle crash in Cloverdale Township on Saturday, Oct. 5.

A friend of Corbin’s notified the Banner Graphic of his passing.

Corbin was the lead motorcycle in a convoy Saturday afternoon on a 2015 Harley Davidson FLH.

He got into loose gravel near the side of County Road 190 West and lost control. The motorcycle fell onto its right side, after which both Corbin and the bike slid another 50 yards.

He was not wearing a helmet and was bleeding from the head following the crash.

His companions and then a trauma nurse who happened to be passing did what they could to assist Corbin.

Putnam County Operation Life transported him to a landing zone before he was airlifted to St. Vincent-Indianapolis by StatFlight helicopter.
