Nancy (Nelson) Wilderman

Nancy (Nelson) Wilderman entered the gates of heaven peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana at the age of 56.

Nancy was born on March 27, 1963, in Greencastle.

She is a graduate of Greencastle High School and worked at Ski’s Truck & RV Sales.

She married the love of her life Curt Wilderman in 2006.

Nancy was a fighter (she learned that from her three sisters) and she fought her battle boldly. She left this world knowing and feeling much love from her husband, Curt, and her family. She lit up like the North Star when talking about her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Curt; sons Darrin (Sarah) Strother and Dallas (Jennifer) Strother; stepsons Darren Wilderman and Kyle (Kayci) Wilderman; six beloved grandchildren, Layla Strother, Mary Strother, Ryan Strother, Hailey Strother, Kayt Strother and Cash Wilderman; three sisters, Candie (Don) Branneman, Cristie (Greg) Herberle and Susan (Steve) Clark; several nieces and nephews; and mother and father, Bev and Gerald Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Wayne Strother.

The Lord has big plans for her in Heaven, so this is not the end of a beautiful life, but the blessed beginning. Until we meet again… Godspeed Nancy, Godspeed!
