Bainbridge council to hire new North Putnam SRO

The Bainbridge Town Council is set to hire a new school resource officer for North Putnam Schools.

The town has had a memorandum of understanding with the school to hire the SRO since 2018. Jes Seipel previously served as SRO.

The board will convene in an executive session at 10 a.m. Friday to interview three applicants for the position.

A public session is set for 11 a.m. (though it may be later, depending on the interviews) during which the board is expected to choose one of the three applicants as the next North Putnam SRO.
