Elizabeth Carole Scaggs

Elizabeth Carole Scaggs, 74, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Carole was born in Greencastle on Dec. 13, 1944, the daughter of Claude Alvin and Edna (Small) Paris.

She was a 1963 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mrs. Scaggs liked to travel, go out to eat and movies, she also enjoyed embroidery.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Amers (husband Michael) of Greencastle; two grandchildren, Hope Noble of Cloverdale and Kyle Thomas of Greencastle; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Rennick, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Dee Scaggs; an infant brother, Donald Robert Paris; and a brother, Ed Beaman.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.
