Uldene Beverly Goad

Uldene Beverly Goad, 86, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at her residence.

Uldene was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Oct. 9, 1933, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Luurtsema) Rooze.

On Dec. 15, 1951, Mrs. Goad married the love of her life, Samuel T. Goad Jr.

She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Samuel T. Goad Jr.; two sons, Kevin D. Goad (wife Leann) of Cloverdale and Keith D. Goad (wife Tracey) of Reelsville; three daughters, Kathy D. Clements (husband James) of Mooresville, Karen D. Cash (husband Kenneth) of Cloverdale and Karla D. Brasher (husband John) of Greencastle; a sister, Darlene of Ellettsville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Clayton, Raymond and Gordon Rooze; and a sister, Charlene Rooze.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.

Burial in Center Valley Cemetery will take place at a later date.
