Lowell Edward McCammack, 82, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 at Life’s Journey in Avon.

He was born on Dec. 21, 1936 to the late Herman McCammack and Irene (Wilson) and Charles Rogers.

On June 3, 1956 in Bainbridge, he married Patsy Ann (Hanks) McCammack. She survives.

Lowell was a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church, the Bainbridge Fire Department, as well as a member of the Bainbridge Town Board and the Bainbridge Cemetery.

He owned and operated the Marathon Gas Station and Wrecker Service for many years. He also worked as a meat cutter for Hanks Regal Grocery, and as a real-estate agent, and auctioneer.

Lowell loved wheeling and dealing, working hard, and spending time with his “buddies,” his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy McCammack of Bainbridge, two daughters, Janet (Jerry) Miller of Bainbridge and Julie (Bruce) Harbison of Roachdale; four grandchildren, Brittney Miller, Brook (Jake) Mullis, Dalton (Cara) Harbison and Danielle (Garrett) Porter; great-grandchildren Lilly Powell, Beckham and Lucy Mullis and Miles Porter; one brother, Richard (Nancy) McCammack of Greencastle; several nieces and nephews; half brother Ronnie McCammack; and half sister Bertha McCammack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law William (Maxine) McCammack and great-grandson Rylan Powell.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Bainbridge United Methodist Church, 302 E. Main St., Bainbridge, with Pastor Casey Archer officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
