Even with a biting wind chill and slushy conditions, a layer of snow, some still-green leaves and a clear day accent East College late Tuesday morning. The historic brick building on the DePauw University campus was briefly featured on “CBS This Morning” Tuesday as the news program highlighted the arctic blast that swept from the Midwest to New England overnight Monday. The front brought with it below-freezing temperatures that could last into Thursday. Approximately 2.5 inches of snow fell in the area from around lunchtime into the evening hours on Monday.
