County Jail

Six people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Wednesday

• At 4:33 p.m. Andrea Breanne Schwibbe, 34, Bainbridge, was housed at the jail on a warrant.

• At 1:49 p.m. Timothy Warren Wagers, 33, North Salem, was booked in on a court order.

• At 9:49 a.m. Richard James Thomas, 43, Roachdale, was lodged at the jail on a warrant.

Tuesday

• At 11:17 p.m. James Vincent Wright, 48, Greencastle, was taken into custody on an out-of-count warrant.

• At 5:27 p.m. Timothy Ray Moore, 33, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession without a valid prescription.

• At 8:53 a.m. Richard Joseph Guercio, 36, Greencastle, was booked in on a writ.

City Police

Citations relative to marijuana possession and alcohol consumption were issued recently by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 1:35 p.m. Friday, Jackson Schrecongost, 19, Zionsville, was issued a summons into court by Officer Alec Pettit.

Stopped on South Indiana Street, Schrecongost was cited for being a minor in consumption of alcohol.

• At 8:46 p.m. Friday, two teenagers were issued a summons into court for possession of marijuana.

Stopped by Officer Zach Rhine on Avenue B near Percy Julian Drive, Jarrick Hayden, 19, Spencer, and Joshua Hunter, 18, Cloverdale, were cited for possession of marijuana.

Two drivers were recently issued citations by city officers.

• At 6:44 p.m. Wednesday, Jennifer Perkins, 31, Greencastle, was cited for three child restraint violations.

Perkins was stopped in the Putnam Plaza parking lot by Officer Luke Brown.

• At 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Kainen Allen, 18, Brazil, was ticketed by Capt. Charles Inman.

Stopped on Maple Street near Bloomington Street, Allen was cited for a learner’s permit violation.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated one recent property-damage crash.

• At 7:06 a.m. on Thursday, Candace E. Buchanan, 21, Cloverdale, was westbound on County Road 800 South in a 2015 Toyota RAV4 when a deer ran into her path.

Buchanan told Deputy Josh Boller she swerved to miss the animal and ran off the roadway, causing front end damage.

The vehicle was towed. Boller estimated damage at $5,000-$10,000.
