Greencastle Christian still seeks reservations for Thanksgiving Outreach Dinner

Even with Thanksgiving now only days away, Greencastle Christian Church is still accepting reservations for its free community-wide Thanksgiving Outreach Dinner on Thanksgiving Day.

The church conducts the event each year to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this Thanksgiving holiday -- even those without family nearby and those without the means to purchase food supplies to purchase the meal this year.

Dinner will be served at Greencastle Christian Church from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The church will be open for anyone who wishes to dine in and enjoy fellowship with others.

Transportation will be provided if needed. Box dinners will also be available to be picked up at the church or will be delivered to shut-ins.

The church has now extended the deadline for signing up by two days. Anyone wishing to participate in the Thanksgiving Outreach Dinner should call the Greencastle Christian Church office at 653-5816 by Wednesday, Nov. 27 to sign up. Reservations (dine-in, carryout and delivery) are needed by that date to allow for proper preparation.

Greencastle Christian Church is located at 620 Primrose Lane, just east of U.S. 231 South (Bloomington Street).
