Help for the Homeless

Members of the Greencastle American Legion family recently raised $1,500 to donate to Beyond Homeless Inc. Turning over the funds to Beyond Homeless Inc. Board President Travis Linneweber (third from right) and Executive Director Lea Durbin are Gary Strahl, Tim Williams, Teddy Beard, Pat Denny, Jeff Bray and Tony Sparks, representing Greencastle American Legion Post 58, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and Adam Brown Memorial Post 208 at Putnamville Correctional Facility for which Sparks, a correctional officer, serves as liaison. The donation coincided with Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
