County Jail

Six people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Wednesday

• At 7:49 a.m. Tiffany Dawn Carpenter, 39, Spencer, was housed at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 5:22 a.m. Samantha Jo Gordon, 29, Quincy, was booked in for possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction and driving with a suspended license.

Tuesday

• At 10:33 p.m. Holly Noel Allen, 39, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 7:33 p.m. Aaron Joseph Beaver, 26, New Castle, was taken into custody on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 10:06 a.m. Michael P. Crawford, 40, Rockville, was housed at the jail on a warrant.

• At 9:29 a.m. Isaac T. Mulvihill, 25, Indianapolis, was booked in for driving with a suspended license.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two recent dispatches:

• At 11:44 a.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to 125 W. Berry St. for a gas leak. Units arrived at 11:51 and were advised that a construction crew had struck a gas line. Vectren was called, and GFD went back into service at 12:10 p.m.

• At 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident near Kroger. Units arrived on the scene at 3:32 but were not needed for any cleanup. GFD went back into service at 3:40 p.m.

Additionally, GFD performed two medical assists prior to these dispatches and had one run during which no incident was found.
