City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two recent dispatches:

• At 3:07 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was dispatched to Humbert Hall for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 3:10 and were advised that the alarm was set off due to maintenance being performed. GFD left at 3:23 p.m.

• At 3:36 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 330 Greenwood Ave. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 3:38 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 3:43 p.m.

Additionally, GFD performed four medical assists and had two disregards around this time.
