Too Fast and Too Furious

Friday, November 29, 2019
After traveling at speeds estimated as high as 140 mph Thursday, a BMW is loaded on a wrecker and removed from Interstate 70 in Putnam County. Witnesses estimated and the driver himself stated that speeds were in excess of 140 mph just prior to him losing control of the car and striking a semi, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department reported on its Facebook page. The vehicle then spun out of control and went into a ditch. The driver walked away with only minor injuries. What he didn't walk away from was a criminal citation and a mandatory court date for reckless driving. The semi driver was unharmed and his rig only suffered minor damage. No other information was available from authorities with Friday being a holiday.

  • Think about how dumb the average person is, and realize that half of all people are dumber than that.
