Make use of that snow by entering Park Dept. snow sculpture contest

If the recent snow sparked your creativity, the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department invites you to enter its annual Snow Sculpture Contest.

During the months of December, January and February residents are invited to have fun building a snowman, snow creature or snow sculpture and entering the contest by submitting a photo to be judged by the Park Board in March.

Persons can enter as an individual, family or group. Top entries will be selected in three categories -- Best Snowman, Best Snow Creature and Best Snow Sculpture (anything but first two).

Entry period runs through March 1. Winners will be announced Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Greencastle City Hall.
