Paying It Forward

In the spirit of giving back, the Glen Skaggs Memorial Fund presents a $400 check to Moose Lodge 1592 late Thursday morning. The donation was a gesture thanking the lodge for hosting an annual Christmas dinner for consumers at Putnam County Comprehensive Services. Present for the donation are (from left) PCCS Consumer Relations Manager Stacie Langdon, Phyllis Buis, Opal Arnold, Cathy Hayes, Roberta Skaggs, Matthew Whitaker, Becky Moore, PCCS Executive Director Andrew Ranck, Moose Lodge Governor Ron Shillings, Ralph Buis and Barbara Rader. Moore said that just under 300 meals were prepared for this year’s dinner. The event itself has been held since 1978.
