Franklin D. R. Boehm Sr.

Franklin D. R. Boehm Sr., age 80, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 at Putnam County Hospital.

He was born in Covington, Ky. on March 10, 1939 to Charles and Mary Boehm.

He did a three-and-a-half-year stint in the Army and was honorably discharged of all his duties, and then made a career out of being out on the road. He was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life and retired in 2004.

He loved to fish, bowl, watch racing, play horseshoes and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Carol Boehm of 54 years; sons Mike (Nancy) Boehm, Brian Boehm, Frank D. R. (Tracey) Boehm Jr. and Mark (Loretta) Boehm; grandchildren Rick Jr., Brian Jr. (Ally), Chad, Lisa, Travis, Troy and Khloe; and great-grandchildren Gracie Boehm, Rick Boehm III, Thomas, Isabella, Zoe, Nadia Boehm, Hunter and Rose Boehm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rick Boehm and daughter Lisa Boehm.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral service at 1 p.m., at Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville.
