Norman Gene Hoffa

Norman Gene Hoffa, 86, of Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Norman was born in Indianapolis on Dec. 5, 1933, the son of Dorsey Williamson and Gertrude Lillian (Murray) Hoffa.

Mr. Hoffa was a member of Amity Baptist Church of Cloverdale, the Cloverdale Conservation Club, the American Trapshooters Association and a former member of the NRA. He worked for Lonestar Industries/Buzzi Unicem for 44 years until his retirement in 1995.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Anita Hoffa; two sons, Terry Hoffa (wife Linda), and Chris Hoffa (wife Regina); five grandchildren, Sheryl Hall (Larry), Susan Holmes (Trae), Stephanie Hoffa (Dana Mitchell), Drake Hoffa and Lake Hoffa; and four great-grandchildren, Rylan Hall, Carson Hall, Drew Holmes and Ella Holmes.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Amis officiating. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5 at the funeral home and one hour prior to time of service.
