Douglas Alan Stattner

Douglas Alan Stattner, 52, Cloverdale, left this earthly life to walk eternally with Jesus. He lost his battle with cancer on Jan. 5, 2020.

Doug was born on Nov. 15, 1967 in Greencastle to Larry Wayne and Lilly Sue (Lopossa) Stattner and they survive.

Doug also has three siblings, sister Diana Sue Jurgens (husband Perry) and brothers Dennis Stattner (wife Kathy) and Daniel Stattner (wife Gwen), all of Cloverdale; 11 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Doris Stattner and Ben and Vergie Lopossa.

He attend First Baptist Church, where he went to school.

He worked for 30 years as a forklift driver at IAC in Greencastle.

Douglas loved life and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A service and celebration of his life will be held at New Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 18. doors open at 11 a.m. with the service at noon. Pastor David Voorhees will officiate.

The church is located at 6256 S. CR 550 East, Greencastle.
