Jan. 21 Empty Bowls event to aid New Life Food Pantry

Winter Term students at DePauw University are staging a fundraiser on Tuesday, Jan. 21 to collect food items for those in need in the community.

The Empty Bowls event is scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. at Hoover Dining Hall off Hanna Street on the DePauw campus.

For donations of $10 and a canned food item, persons will receive a soup and bread dinner, along with a student-made ceramic bowl.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the New Life Food Pantry.
