Laurie Hardwick named Citizen of the Year

Recognized for tireless dedication to the community over the years, Laurie Hardwick was named the 2019 Citizen of the Year by the Putnam County Chamber on Saturday night.

Other big news of the night included the official rebranding of the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce to emphasize the organization as a county-wide entity.

Thre other awards were handed out on Saturday. Jack's Trash Service was named the Small Business of the Year, Buzzi Unicem was named the Large Business of the Year and Phil the Need was named Non-Profit of the Year.

  • how can they be a whole county Chamber of Commerce and still be called Greencastle Chamber they were suppose to change the name to Greater Putnam County Chamber of Commerce something smells fishy
