Leonard E. Park

Leonard E. Park, 65, longtime Putnam County resident, passed away on Jan. 5, 2020.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the New Ross Christian Church in New Ross. Pastor Ivan Brown will be officiating.

Leonard was born Oct. 2, 1954 to Lilburn and Martha Park.

He enlisted in the Army in 1973 and served until 1976.

Afterward he worked for TDS Telecom, he was a union carpenter and worked various jobs over the years.

Leonard was preceded in death by his mother Martha (Gorham) Park, who passed away Dec. 10, 2015, and survived by his father Lilburn (Kathy) Park of Lake View, Ark.; siblings Larry Park of Thorntown, Rose Park of Medford, Wis., Lester (Mia) Park of Abbotsford, Wis., Julia (Jim) Poncek of Tomahawk, Wis., Christopher Park of Sarasota, Fla., Sandra Spradling of Frankfort, and stepsister, Kay Johnson of Madison, Wis.
