Putnam Scanner for February 22, 2020

Three people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 10:52 p.m. Amber G. Keck, 33, Plainfield, was lodged at the jail for driving with a BAC of .15 or more.

• At 2:39 p.m. Richard L. Lucas, 25, Staunton, was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 3:03 p.m. Joshua M. Butler, 36, Cloverdale, was booked in on a court order.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to one recent dispatch:

• At 7:21 p.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to 409 S. Jackson St. for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 7:22 and determined the alarm was due to cooking. The alarm was then reset. GFD left at 7:29 p.m.
