James C. Cox

James C. Cox, 83, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 in his residence.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1937 in Greencastle to A.J. and Vera Maxine (Robinson) Cox.

James was retired from Ford Motor Company.

He loved fishing, watching NASCAR, camping and going to the ocean, where he enjoyed metal detecting.

James is survived by his wife, Janet (Kirby) Cox; daughters, Cindy Benson, Brenda Blackmon and Amanda Gatton (Christopher); son, James F. Cox (Cindy); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled and cremation has been chosen.
