John Davis Cook, 52, passed away on Feb. 25, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

John was born in Indianapolis on Sept. 3, 1967, the son of Jack Donelson and Shirley (Kennedy) Cook.

He was a graduate of Plainfield High School.

Mr. Cook loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sandy Cook; his parents; four children, Steven Todd, Jason Todd, Jordan Cook and Jacob Cook; a brother, James Cook; two sisters, Barb Weatherington (husband Andrew) and Carleen Nichols (husband Mark); 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Champion officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
