FREE ACCESS: Game times, ticket info released for NCAA Division III basketball at DePauw

Fresh off the program's seventh North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament championship in nine years in the league, DePauw (27-1) opens NCAA Division III Championship play with a 7 p.m. first-round game on Friday in Neal Fieldhouse against Webster (20-7).

In Friday's 5 p.m.opening game, Loras (24-3) takes on Wisconsin-La Crosse (19-7). Friday's winners meet on Saturday at 7 p.m. in a second-round contest.

Tickets will be available at the door on a cash-only basis and are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Children ages 2 and under will be admitted free of charge.

With Saturday's 66-47 win over Denison, the Tigers earned the NCAC's automatic qualification into the 64-team field. The Tigers are making their 21st appearance in the Division III postseason and their streak of 17 straight trips is the longest currently in Division III.

Webster earned automatic qualification after winning the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, while Loras and Wisconsin-La Crosse each earned at-large berths.

DePauw's 21 appearances rank in a tie for seventh in Division III history, while their 33 wins are tied for ninth. DePauw has posted a 33-18 record in the postseason including national championships in 2007 and 2013 and a third-place finish in 2002. Head coach Kris Huffman, in her 27th season with the Tigers, has posted a 648-126 career record including a 626-100 (.862) mark over the last 25 seasons which tops Division III in both wins and winning percentage.
