Carol L. (Clark) Blue, 90, of Greencastle, passed away at Hendricks Regional Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020.

She married Robert W. Blue on Nov. 11, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2015.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. and Mary E. (Dunn) Clark; brothers William Clark, Roy “Bud” Clark, Gerald Clark and Robert Clark; sisters Rosetta Cummings, Lula Cox, Joy Lawson, Maxine Baldwin, Louise Mager and Jerri Clark.

Carol is survived by her children, Robert W. (Linda) Blue Jr., Robin K. Lucas and Terrie L. (Doug) Daugherty; grandchildren Stephanie Lucas, Greg Glassburn, Eric (Cheryl) Blue, Carrie (Ryan) Thompson, Holly (Stacy) Patterson and Houston (Kayla) Cherry; great-grandchildren Rylan Lucas, Katie Haynes, Rance Glassburn, Maegan Blue, Braeden Blue, Kaylee Hubbard, Eva Hubbard, Bentley Downing, Laylah Downing and Maelee Cherry; stepgrandchildren/great Tasha Thompson, Mason Thompson, Myaha Teague and Mason Baxter; brother Steven (Barb) Clark; sister-in-law Donna Clark; several nieces and nephews; and her fur companion, Annie.

Carol worked at Old Trail Inn from 1946 through 1965, Angwell Curtain Factory and retired from DePauw University.

She loved spending time with her family, loved playing bingo and going to the casinos by bus.

Due to ongoing social gathering restrictions, a graveside service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Putnam County Humane Society.

Cremation is being done by The Neptune Society.
