Patricia Lambert, 83, Bloomington, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020.

Pat was born on Jan. 14, 1937 in Indianapolis to Raymond and Pauline Bly.

She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and attended Butler University.

On Feb. 5, 1955, she married Freeman Lambert. They raised three children in Greencastle, Denise, Marcella and Doug.

She was a Christian and an active member of churches the Lord led her to.

She retired as a real estate agent and broker for RE/MAX. For decades she was active in Eastern Star, holding positions as Worthy Matron, District Deputy and Grand Representative to Washington State.

She was an avid bowler, winning many local, state and national titles. Her highest sanctioned score was 290.

She was a singer, having sung at many events, some for an audience of thousands. She was also passionate about flower arranging, the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Pacers.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and son, Doug.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Freeman; daughters, Denise Newton of Bloomington and Marcella (William) Kirkland of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Krystal Kirkland-Wood, Kimberly Kirkland, Kerry Kirkland, Hayley Lambert, Mallisa Mason and Robert Mason; great-grandchild, Jayden Ruiz; siblings, Donna Thiekie of Kokomo, Gary (Sheila) Bly of Harrisburg, Pa. and Beverly Smith of Martinsville; nieces, Danielle Martin and Heather Million; and many other loving nieces and nephews.

There will not be a service. The family requests that those wishing to donate in Pat’s name to do so to lymphaticnetwork.org.

Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Rd. 37, Bloomington, has been entrusted with arrangements.
