North Putnam Schools extend spring break

Friday, March 20, 2020

North Putnam students perhaps got a bit of good news recently as they come off of a week of e-learning.

In a letter sent out to parents Thursday evening, Superintendent Nicole Singer announced that spring break would be extended another week in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Singer added that the week of March 30 through April 3 would be made up of waiver days granted by the state. As such, no e-learning will be done during this period.

However, students are still expected to turn in e-learning work completed this week on or before March 30, the end of the principle week set aside for spring break.

“I have thanked you many times the last few days, but thank you again,” Singer concluded in the letter. “I cannot tell you enough how proud I am to be a part of such an amazing community.”
