Gleaners drive-through pantry set Saturday at Bainbridge Elementary

BAINBRIDGE — The Gleaners Mobile Food Truck will visit Bainbridge Elementary School on Saturday morning, April 18, for a drive-through food pantry.

The event will take place at the school, 412 S. Washington St., from 10 a.m.-noon.

Gleaners is conducting mobile food pantries to help clients and volunteers maintain social distancing guidelines. Clients do not need to bring bags or boxes, as those will be provided via pre-boxed food for families.

Clients are asked to stay in their vehicles.

The Bainbridge event is being conducted at the school instead of the Bainbridge Community Center to help facilitate the drive-through traffic. Volunteers and possibly police will be directing traffic.
