Missing Plainfield girl found

A 15-year-old runaway missing from Plainfield has been found, the Plainfield Police Department reported Monday morning.

Plainfield police reported Friday that Sarah Cromwell was missing and may have been spotted in the area of Locust Street in Greencastle.

On Monday, the police department updated its post.

“We are pleased to report that after some assistance from the public and Greencastle PD, Sarah Cromwell has been located and is safe and well,” the post stated.

No further details on where or how Cromwell was located were shared.
