Emma Jean Kemp

Emma Jean Kemp, 89, of Greencastle passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Emma was born in Tompkinsville, Ky. on March 10, 1931, the daughter of Jay and Stella (Gearlds)

Walls.

Survivors include her three children, Gayla Schroeder (husband Del) of Greencastle, Vanessa Cory, (husband Leonard) of Greencastle and Clayton Kemp (wife Kasey) of Stilesville; a sister, Ethel Jones (husband Duard) of Indianapolis; a brother, William Walls; 11 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Kemp; a companion, Don Smith; two great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held by the family on Tuesday, April 28, with burial in Brick Chapel Cemetery.
