Tina B. Myer

Tina B. Myer, 65, of Brazil, passed away at her home, unexpectedly, on April 23, 2020 following a short illness.

Tina was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Tina was born on Jan. 18, 1955, in St. James, Long Island, N.Y.

After graduating from Smithtown High School, Tina became a groom for harness racing horses. She worked at Pompano Race Track in Florida then traveled to Monticello, N.Y., Race Track, where she met her husband David.

Tina Always loved taking care of people. After moving to Indiana, she became a caregiver and worked in home healthcare for years. Tina then hired on at Mill Pond Nursing Home. She worked there for 11 years, made many friends and families of patients adored her.

Tina was a loving, outgoing person and always made you smile. She was a great mom, sister and grandmother to her family.

She is survived by her son, Michael Myer and wife Denise; a brother, Wes Ripperger; two sisters, Terry Stockmann and Ellie Boyle; and three grandchildren, Michaela, David and Mason.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor (Barrett) Ripperger and Wesley Ripperger; her husband, David Myer; and a brother, Scott Ripperger.

Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home in Brazil. Visit to light a candle in her memory.
