Livestream of GCSC public hearing available by request

A public hearing regarding the contract of the new Greencastle Schools superintendent will be available via livestream.

Those who wish to view the meeting remotely may do so by contacting Toni Smith at tsmith@greencastle.k12.in.us by noon on Monday.

Those making the request will be sent the link for the meeting.

The hearing, set for 6:30 p.m. Monday at GCSC Central Office, is a chance for the public to comment on the proposed contract for the new superintendent. It may be viewed online at http://www.greencastle.k12.in.us/g_c_s_c/school_board/notifications.

To maintain social distancing standards, the board will have only three members at the meeting and commenters will be allowed in the meeting room only one at a time.

Additionally, those wishing to make comment but not wanting to attend may do so by emailing all five board members before the meeting. Those addresses are available at http://www.greencastle.k12.in.us/g_c_s_c/school_board.

The new superintendent will be announced and formally approved in another special meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11.
