The result of a recent GoFundMe campaign by local businesses and individuals, seven Moore’s Bar staff members each received $455.05 recently.

The group collected the money to reach out and help local bartenders and servers who have been affected by the shutdowns of COVID-19.

Unable to give to the staff at every local establishment, organizers chose Moore’s in a drawing, making the presentation on April 30.

“I will say, you guys are amazing and thank you,” Moore’s Bar owner Pete Meyer said.

Moore’s was one of the businesses that contributed, joining Jack’s Trash, Barrier Windows, Ticher Detail and Coatings, Keener’s Mower Sales, Heather Taylor State Farm, as well as a number of individuals.

“I’m just glad we can do it,” Shay Keener said. “I’m fortunate that my business is essential and we are actually making money.”
