Russell Lewis Sanders

Russell Lewis Sanders, 63, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his residence.

Russell was born in Greencastle on Dec. 15, 1956, the son of Russell and Hallie (Kent) Sanders, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mr. Sanders worked for seven years with Morris Manufacturing in Brazil and for 19 years with IAC in Greencastle. He was a charter member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 4388.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Diane Sanders; a son, Paul Sanders; a daughter, Callie Walker (husband Cory); a sister, Lila Etter; two brothers, Larry Sanders and Fred Sanders; three stepchildren; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Snuggles, who was his buddy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Grossman.

At his request, there will be no visitation.
