Rush-Heavin engagement

Melinda Heavin of Coatesville is pleased to announce the marriage of her son, Tyler Heavin, to Kristen Rush, daughter of Joel and Debbie Rush of Westfield.

Tyler, a Putnam County native and prior Lilly Scholar, is an emergency medicine resident currently completing his training at Indiana University. He completed his education at Franklin College, Oxford University and the Indiana University School of Medicine.

He currently serves as an alternate Board of Trustee member of the Indiana State Medical Association.

Kristen, a Brownsburg native and also a physician, is completing her radiology residency training at Indiana University. She completed her education at Butler University and the Indiana University School of Medicine.

She currently serves as the president of the Indiana State Medical Association Residents’ and Fellows’ Section.

Unfortunately, their previously planned wedding is currently delayed due to the COVID outbreak and both are working hard in Indianapolis to help combat the virus and provide healthcare to Hoosiers.
