Delta Theta Tau

Promoting beautification and education in the Putnam County community, Delta Theta Tau sorority has stayed active recently. Member Ella Marie Torr works in flower beds at Forest Hill Cemetery recently as members clean the beds and plant flowers.

Additionally, the sorority also awarded a pair of scholarships. Sarah Baker (above left), a 2020 Cloverdale High School graduate, was awarded the Theta Chapter Nancy Andis Honorary Grant of $1,000. Baker plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study forensic science. Meanwhile, 2020 North Putnam graduate Josie Lyons receives the Theta Chapter Memorial Grant of $1,000. Lyons plans to attend Franklin College to study history and theater.
