NPHS teacher being investigated for 'inappropriate' contact

ROACHDALE -- A teacher at North Putnam High School is currently under investigation for alleged "inappropriate" contact with students.

RTV6 out of Indianapolis has reported that North Putnam administrators were made aware of these allegations last Tuesday.

Superintendent Nicole Singer recently sent out a letter to parents concerning the corporation's response at this point, but no specifics were provided.

"Administrators immediately contacted law enforcement to report the allegations," Singer wrote in the letter. "Because our primary concern is always the safety and security of all students, the corporation is fully cooperating with law enforcement and will respond with the appropriate course of action regarding these allegations."
