Jerry W. Price

Jerry W. Price, 63, Coatesville, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at his residence.

He was born in Greencastle on July 31, 1956 the son of James A. and Verna Lillian Cummins Price.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School and Indiana University.

He had worked in finance at Allison Transmission-General Motors for 41 years.

He was a member of the Greencastle Church of Christ.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Vinny Gambold Price; children Vera Greeley and husband, Allen, Ariz., Carrie Kunkel and husband, Ryan, Zionsville, Casey Price and wife, Sarah, Pittsboro, and Shelly Price, Coatesville; grandchildren Stella Kunkel, Judah Greeley, Hazel Kunkel, Silas Greeley, Miriam Greeley, Ezra Price, Lydia Greeley and Quinn Price; his father, James A. Price, Greencastle; and his mother-in-law, Beulah Gambold, Coatesville.

He was preceded by his mother and a brother, Tom Price.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service.

The family has asked that due to the Covid-19 situation the following guidelines be observed -- 11-1 anyone high risk; 12-4 walk through viewing; 4-5 funeral.

The viewing will be a walk-through line to speak with the family and then we ask you exit the building with no gathering inside. After exiting the building, if you’d like to attend the funeral, please return at 4.

Please keep your distance from Shelly, Sarah and Grandma Bunny. Wearing a mask is advised. If you’ve been sick or exposed recently, please do not come. We appreciate your support from afar.
