Sharon Lavon Sheldon

Sharon Lavon Sheldon, 79, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Sharon was born in Greencastle on Nov. 9, 1940, the daughter of Aaron and Laura (McDonald) York.

Mrs. Sheldon enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Hershel Sheldon (wife Melanie) and Stephen Sheldon (wife Melissa); a sister, Barbara Black; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Jerry Sheldon; five brothers; and two sisters.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
